W7 Making Waves Eye Colour & Cheeky Chaps Blush Review ♥
Monday, April 04, 2016
Hi everyone!
Today I am going to be doing reviews of the W7 Making Waves Eye Colour and also the W7 Cheeky Chaps Multi Blush. I was very kindly sent these back in December and thought I would do a review of them today for you all... I hope you enjoy!
The blush is perfect if you want to add a little colour to your cheek without making it really obvious that you're wearing a blush at all. I like the fact that you can mix the six different shades together or use them separately. I like the packaging because you don't have to open the product to see the colour inside which is always handy if you have a lot of blushes.
The eyeshadow is brilliant if you want to create a soft smoky eye look as it has a range of different nude colours as well as dark browns and blacks which I think are the essentials when you're looking to create a smoky eye. I like the packaging because it is thin and very light so it is perfect if you want to take it travelling or just as something you keep in your handbag.
Cheeky Chaps Blush Pros:
- Gives you the perfect amount of colour and doesn't make it obvious that you've used a blush.
- The blush has little sparkles in which make it look very pretty on.
- It lasts a fairly long time on but not all day.
- You can mix all the colours together to give you a pretty rosy colour or use them separately.
Cheeky Chaps Blush Cons:
- It can be quite powdery and you'll find that when you apply the product to the brush a lot of it is left on the packaging and when applied to face it can drop down at times.
- The packaging isn't the most attractive I have seen from W7 but it is quite good considering how much money the blushes sell for.
Making Waves Eye Colour Pros:
- Great for creating a smoky eye look.
- Attractive packaging.
- You don't have to open the product to see the colours inside.
- Travel size and the perfect size to fit in a handbag or small makeup bag.
- Perfect for day and night use and lasts all day without moving at all.
- Doesn't go powdery around the eyes and stays matte.
Making Waves Eye Colour Cons:
- It is a bit annoying that the colours aren't sectioned off and that there isn't an equal amount of each colour as I like to use one of the colours that comes in a small amount by itself sometimes but this isn't a massive problem.
